Apex University, Jaipur organized a devotional evening on 21st March 2023 from 6:00 PM onwards at Apex West Campus-1, VT Road, Mansarovar, Jaipur to commemorate the 5th Death Anniversary of our revered founder Chairman, Dr. S. M. Juniwal, an educationist, visionary & philanthropist. The National and internationally acclaimed devotional singer, Dr. Anuradha Paudwal encapsulate the evening with her mesmerizing performance on the “Bhajan Sandhya”.

On the 5th Death Anniversary, we pay a heartfelt obituary to our revered Dr. S.M. Juniwal, the founder Chairman of Sanjay Shiksha Samiti, Apex University, and Group Institutions of APEX. Dr. Juniwal was an educationist, philanthropist & a great visionary who left a legacy of educational institutions for quality, innovation, and excellence behind him.
The indefatigable journey of Dr. Juniwal that began in 1964 culminated in a vast empire of academic, technical & professional institutions offering carrier-oriented Diploma, UG, PG, and Doctoral programs across diverse streams.
He dedicated his entire life to the upliftment & well-being of the people belonging to the humble backgrounds of the society without any discrimination of caste, creed & religion.
Our founder Chairman has made significant contributions to nurturing the future of lakhs of students which will ever be remembered in the coming days.

Anuradha Paudwal is one of the most prominent Bhajan singer and also as one of the most successful playback singers of 80s and 90s era of Bollywood. She is a recipient of several accolades including a National Film Award, four Filmfare Awards (winning consecutively during 1990–92) and two Odisha State Film Awards, she has been honoured with the Padma Shri, the country’s fourth-highest civilian honour for her contribution in the field of arts.

She was honored with honorary degree of D.Litt. by D Y Patil University, the second singer to receive this degree after Lata Mangeshkar. She is engaged in social work and had a foundation named Suryodaya Foundation. In her career spanning over four decades Paudwal has recorded more than 9,000 songs and more than 1,500 bhajans in several languages including Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, Sanskrit, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Odia, Assamese, Punjabi, Bhojpuri, Nepali and Maithili. She is ranked NO. 31 in Youtube’s Music Charts and Insights list of top global artist as of 3 February 2022. She has been on chart since last 237 weeks. She was felicitated by the House of Commons in England and awarded the Cultural ambassador to Indian devotional by the United Nations in New York.

The President of India Pranab Mukherjee presented the Padma Shri Award to Anuradha Paudwal, at a Civil Investiture Ceremony, at Rashtrapati Bhavan, in New Delhi on 30 March 2017

She has been honoured with many awards including 4 Filmfare Awards, 1 National Film Award and Padma Shri by Government of India. Her other accolades are as follows:
