The B.Ed. – Hearing Impairment at Apex University, in accordance with Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) norms, prepares professionally qualified Special Educators (HI) to teach and support children with hearing impairment in inclusive and special education settings. The programme develops competencies in assessment of hearing loss, language and communication development, Indian Sign Language (ISL), speech reading, auditory training, and use of assistive listening devices. Emphasis is placed on Individualized Education Programmes (IEPs), disability-specific pedagogy, and curriculum adaptation.

Educational Consultant:
Advise schools on teaching strategies for hearing-impaired students. Develop inclusive education programs. Work in educational institutions or NGOs.
Audiology Assistant:
Support audiologists in diagnosing and treating hearing impairments. Conduct tests and maintain equipment. Work in hospitals or clinics.
Sign Language Instructor:
Teach sign language to hearing-impaired students. Develop teaching materials and techniques. Work in schools or rehabilitation centers.
Special Education Teacher:
Teach students with hearing impairments. Develop individualized education plans. Work in schools or special education centers.
