The theme of this HR Summit, "Integrating Indian Knowledge Systems in HR: Fostering Collaborative and Engaging Cultures in Industry and Academia," seeks to blend ancient wisdom with contemporary HR practices. Indian scriptures such as the Arthashastra and Vedas have long emphasized the importance of governance, ethical leadership, and community engagement-principles that remain relevant in today's corporate and academic environments. By integrating the concepts of Dharma (ethical duty), Yoga (holistic wellness), and the Guru- Shishya (mentor-mentee) tradition, this conclave aims to present a harmonious model for HR that nurtures not only organizational efficiency but also individual well-being and societal values.
ABOUT NIPM
The National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM), established on 15th March 1980, is India's leading body for HR professionals, formed by merging the Indian Institute of Personnel Management (1948) and the National Institute of Labour Management (1950).
A non-profit organisation and India's pioneer body of HR Professionals devoted to building professional excellence in the field of Human Resource Management. Mr. Deepak Agarwal
Mr. Deepak Agarwal is presently assigned to Emirates NBD - Private Banking where he heads Global External Asset Management Coverage, managing the complete distribution channel of funds across countries. He was the CEO-Middle East and Africa at Kotak Mahindra where he was spearheading the Offshore Asset Management Business Activity. His 25 years of experience is in private banking, wealth management, financial planning, and investments. He has completed Executive Management from Cornell University and PGDBM from GHS-IMR, India. He is also an Associate Financial Planner by the Financial Planning and Standard Board (FPSB).
Ms. Aastha Sharma
Ms. Aastha Sharma is one of the most ARD trained heads, HR. An LL.B. graduate and an MBA HR with specialization in Industrial Laws, she is highly experienced in different sectors dealing with employment laws, regulations compliance, and employee relations. More generally she manages various HR functions, from misconduct investigations to compliance with Indian labor laws. She brings with her vast experience in many areas, including HR automation, policy-formulation, disciplinary action management, talent management, employee welfare, and compensation programs. In addition to the above, she also has experience in handling POSH proceedings and misconduct investigations.
Mrs. Jyoti Singhal
Mrs. Jyoti Singhal, an experienced HR professional with 15 years of experience, founded Swaram Consultants in 2022. With expertise in organization development, employee engagement, and talent management, she has worked across large and small businesses. Swaram Consultants is committed to integrity, ethics, and emotional intelligence, offering HR solutions to organizations and job seekers.
Mr. Mihir Pushpak Kumar Vaishnav
Mihir Pushpak Kumar Vaishnav, a seasoned professional with over 28 years of experience in the financial services industry, is currently the business head of SME SBL (Micro LAP) at SK Finance Ltd. He has held leadership positions at prominent organizations such as ICICI Bank, TVS Credit Services Ltd., and Magma Fincorp Ltd. His expertise spans auto loans, mortgage business, and institutional and retail banking. Vaishnav holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from N.M. College of Commerce, Mumbai, and is passionate about sports, social debates, and career counseling.
Mr. Chetan Sharma
Mr. Chetan Sharma, a 15-year-old professional in HR and learning development, is designated as Head HR and Learning of Hotel Clarks Amer, Jaipur. The scope of work includes carrying out HR functions pertaining to recruitment, compensation, performance management, and labor relations while assessing employee satisfaction with that of business objectives. Sharma is an instructor certified by American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute; he also earned the titles Service Culture Champion and Master Trainer from Marriott International. With extensive experience in hospitality, Sharma provides initiatives in seniority of fostering excellent, engaging, and service culture at Hotel Clarks Amer. These measures will ensure an improved experience for staff and guests.
Mr. Rajesh Methi
Mr. Rajesh Methi is the founder of the Indic School of Jurisprudence, Indic Pathshala, and LEXINDIC | Indic Judiciary. He is an L&D strategist, experiential trainer, and legal expert par excellence with diverse academic qualifications. He holds a Ph.D., LL.M., LL.B., and has qualification certifications in CS, MBA, and IPR along with expertise in project management, leadership, communication, and critical thinking. Dr. Methi has been the Founder Director of the Indic School of Jurisprudence and has mentored three Ph.D. scholars. He has over 60 publications to his credit and is also a member of many professional and social organizations such as ISTD, FICCI, WIPO, and Toastmasters International.
Mr. Bisheveshwar Acharya Ji
Bisheswor Acharya, a prominent leader in Pokhara and a distinguished figure in Lions Clubs International, has significantly influenced the educational sector in Nepal since its establishment in 2002. As the Founder, President, and CEO of Novel Academy which has consistently ranked among Nepal's top 10 B-Schools and was named the top B-School in Gandaki Province in 2014 and 2022. Acharya has also held leadership roles in community organizations, completed numerous leadership training programs under Lions Clubs International, and has overseen significant projects in Nepal, such as healthcare infrastructure development.
Prof. Shad Ahmad Khan
Prof. Shad Ahmad Khan, an assistant professor at the University of Buraimi's College of Business, is renowned for his expertise in green practices, online business management, and higher education. He is ranked among the top 2% of scientists globally and serves as an associate editor for the International Journal of Pluralism and Economics Education. Prof. Khan has authored over 50 Scopus-indexed publications, books, and research articles and has contributed to funded projects, consultancy work, and editorial roles. He is also a research fellow at INTI International University, Malaysia, and has recently joined Rushford Business School, Switzerland, as an adjunct faculty member and supervisor for doctoral students.
Prof. Anil Mehta
Prof. Anil Mehta is a renowned academic and management professional with over 43 years of teaching experience. He specializes in organizational behavior, human resource development, and marketing management. With 11 books and 40 research papers, he has guided 38 Ph.D. students and two post-doctoral researchers. He has participated in over 80 national and international conferences and conducted numerous programs for corporate, government, and academic institutions. He has received numerous accolades, including the Kamal Patra Award, a Gold Medal, the Inspira Academic Leadership Excellence Award, and the Excellence in Education Award. He is an active member of professional organizations, including ISTD, the Jaipur Management Association, and the Indian HRD Network, and has international influence in education and management training.
Mr. Bhupinder Nayar
Mr. Bhupinder Nayar is a highly experienced head of operations with expertise in Six Sigma, sourcing, talent management, business development, and team management. A Panjab University graduate, he is known for addressing demand-supply gaps, formulating policies, implementing efficient processes, and ensuring data privacy regulations. Nayar is skilled in mentoring teams, coordinating client service operations, managing stakeholder relationships, overseeing technology implementation, and optimizing budgets. He is proficient in evaluating risks, leading quality assurance efforts, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Mr. Amit Kaushal
Mr. Amit Kaushal, a seasoned HR professional with nearly 28 years of experience, started as a management trainee at the Shipping Corporation of India in 1995 and has held key roles in leading organizations such as DLF Universal, Ambuja Rajasthan, Gujarat Ambuja Ltd., and Shree Cement & Power Ltd. He has also held a significant HR leadership role at Asia's largest cement plant in Pali District, Rajasthan. With a B.Sc. (Hons.), an MBA in HR, a Postgraduate Diploma in Organizational Behavior, and a Bachelor of Laws in Labor & Taxation, Kaushal is a behavioral trainer specializing in soft skills training and career counseling. His personal interests include sports and social issues.

Mr. Vivek Gupta
Mr. Vivek, CEO and founder of Technology Mindz, is an accomplished IT consultant with an engineering degree from Engineering College Kota and an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management. He is an alumni of IIM Ahmedabad and has been awarded the LinkedIn Top AI Voice badge. Mr. Vivek has filed a patent for AI Grant Assistant and is currently writing a book on AI use cases across multiple industries. He leads proof of concepts and projects related to generative AI for clients in the USA.
