Apex University, Jaipur and SAARC Journalist Forum are jointly organizing a two-day International conference on” Role of Journalism in Peace and Cooperation in South Asian Countries”. The conference aims to explore the common challenges faced by journalists in South Asian countries. The discussions during the conference will also try to find solutions to the issues faced by media professionals, academicians and researchers in the region. The deliberations during the conference will be made to create a harmonious, cooperative environment. The researchers will find thought-provoking ideas to delve into the problems of citizens of the region. Practicing nuances in the field will open new horizons of ideation for the students and practitioners in the ever-changing world of journalism.

Sanjay Shiksha Samiti, with a rich legacy of over 59 years of educational excellence, proudly introduced Apex University (AU), Jaipur. Established under Rajasthan State Legislature Act No. 27 of 2018, the university stands as a beacon of learning and innovation. Its expansive 30-acre campus, located in the serene and eco-friendly surroundings of Achrol on the Jaipur-Delhi National Highway, offers one of the finest educational environments in the region.
AU boasts world-class infrastructure, featuring cutting-edge research facilities and a modern, well-equipped library. About Jaipur
Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan where history, culture, and royalty come to life, popularly known as the pink city, the name comes from the terracotta-pink colour painted on the buildings of the walled city, The colour 'Pink' symbolises, hospitality and warmth.
The city was founded in 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. Jaipur was one of the first planned cities in India, laid out according to Vastu Shastra principles. In 2019, the walled city of Jaipur was declared the World Heritage site of UNESCO. The core mission of SAARC JOURNALIST FORUM is to work for the rights and dignity of journalists, safeguard press freedom and freedom of expression, and advocate for peace, humanity, democracy, and liberty. Additionally, the organisation aims to enhance the quality, reach, and sustainability of journalism across all media platforms on a global scale.
The forum is dedicated to advancing journalism in South Asia, improving the quality of life for journalists, and fostering mutual trust, understanding, and appreciation of each other's challenges. Recognized as a key regional journalistic body by the South Asian member states of SAARC, SJF plays a vital role in promoting and developing journalism across the region.
The creation of the SAARC Journalist Forum was driven by the need to strengthen journalism within SAARC countries, encouraging development, collaboration, networking, policy reforms, and achieving shared goals in the media landscape of the region.
OUR Guidelines
• Submissions must be original and unpublished and should not be under review by any other publication.
• All manuscripts must adhere to the SAARC Journalist Forum's for peace-building and regional cooperation.
• Ensure that the document is formatted for A4 paper size.
• Do not include page numbers, headers, or footers in the manuscript.
• Regular papers should present novel perspectives within the scope of the conference.
• Only full-length manuscripts of at least 2500-3000 words pages will be accepted.
• Awards and Recognition: Outstanding paper will receive prizes and certificates
• Poster Requirements: Posters should be A3 size, legible from a distance of 2 feet, and displayed on stands.
• Design Guidelines: Posters must include clear sections such as Title, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
• Use a professional layout with fonts of at least 48pt for titles, 24pt for section headings, and 16pt for body text.
• Submit posters in PDF or JPEG format by the specified deadline.
• Awards and Recognition: Outstanding posters will receive prizes and certificates.
• Selected posters will be featured on the university’s social media platforms for greater visibility, with special recognition for winning entries.
• Evaluation Criteria:Posters will be judged based on alignment with the track, clarity originality, visual appeal, and the presenter’s ability to engage the audience
