Rule Book

MOVIE MANIA

  • Event will be held at:ISI-5, RIICO Institutional Area, Apex Cir, Sitapura, Jaipur
  • The quiz will be based on Bollywood and Tollywood.
  • Each team will consist of 2participants.
  • Maximum two teams from one institute will be entertained.
  • There will be elimination round if number of teams exceeds stipulated numbers.
  • One member from a team can represent in the elimination round
  • Qualifying team shortlisted from elimination round will go for the next round
  • There will be a tie breaker round in case of tie.
  • Timings- 10:00 AM-11:00 AM

WARRIORS CLASH

  • Event will be held at:ISI-5, RIICO Institutional Area, Apex Cir, Sitapura, Jaipur
  • 4 members per team(BGMI)
  • Every team member has to bring their own Headphones.
  • Participants can bring their own devices.
  • LAN Gaming of BGMI.
  • Competition Method for (BGMI): Battle Royal
  • Teams limits: not more than 20 teams.
  • Timings- 11:00 AM-12:00 Noon

SPEAK OUT

  • Event will be held at:ISI-5, RIICO Institutional Area, Apex Cir, Sitapura, Jaipur
  • Maximum three teams consisting of two members from each college.
  • There will be two rounds of this competition.
  • In Round 1, all the participants are allowed to have a formal debate. Time given to each candidate is 2+1 minute.
  • In Round 2 only four teams will be finalized and they’ll be given a different topic to debate on. Each candidate will have 3+1 minutes to speak.
  • Topic for round 1:Euthanasia should be permitted.
  • Topic of round two will be disclosed after the completion of round 1. The topic will be related to Indian Law.
  • The maximum time will be 5 minutes for each participant.
  • Evaluation will be based on content, confidence, presentation skills and arguments.
  • Timings-12:00 Noon-1:00 PM

PIRATES OF AAGAZ

  • Event will be held at: ISI-5, RIICO Institutional Area, Apex Cir, Sitapura, Jaipur
  • Every team should have a total of three members.
  • No Individual Participation are allowed.
  • There will be two rounds in this event.
  • In round one teams will be judged by their thinking ability, communication skills, and physical strength for particular tasks.
  • Qualifying teams of round one will go to the final round of treasure hunt, which will be a clue round.

RISING STAR

  • Event will be held at ISI-5, RIICO Institutional Area, Apex Cir, Sitapura, Jaipur
  • Only stage performances will be allowed.
  • There will be 2 rounds - pre-elims and final.
  • TIMINGS: Pre-elims are 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM on 17th Feb and for the final round are 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM on 18th Feb.
  • Participants will be given a maximum of 5 minutes for Kavi Sammelan.
  • Participants will be given a maximum of 2-3 minutes for Solo Singing on Orchestra. The content of the act can be in Hindi or English.
  • Use of profane and offensive language during the act is prohibited.
  • The judge’s decision will be final and binding.

STREET BATTLE

  • Event will be held at ISI-5, RIICO Institutional Area, Apex Cir, Sitapura, Jaipur
  • No props will be allowed.
  • No body contact with the opponent dancer.
  • Random songs will be played.
  • 45 seconds will be given to every participant to showcase their dance.
  • Elimination will be there.
  • Dancers will be judged based on their creativity and how they influence the judges.
  • The judge’s decision will be final and binding.

ANTAKSHARI

  • Event will be held at ISI-5, RIICO Institutional Area, Apex Cir, Sitapura, Jaipur
  • This is a team event.
  • 3 members per team are allowed.
  • If there is individual participation, teams will be formed 10 minutes prior to the event.
  • Event will consist of 3-4 rounds.
  • If the number of teams is more, elimination will be there.

RAP BATTLE

  • Event will be held at ISI-5, RIICO Institutional Area, Apex Cir, Sitapura, Jaipur
  • Use of abusive and offensive words will not be permitted and will lead to negative marking.
  • Team size: Individual
  • No personal comments and religious comments are allowed.
  • If any of the participants use such language, they will be disqualified from the spit game (Rap battle).
  • The participants need to bring their own music/beats for the rap.
  • The program consists of 3 Rounds.
  • ROUND 1-:
    • Participants has to sing a rap song of their own choice (Self written) for 2-3 minutes. It will be an elimination round.
  • ROUND 2-:
    • Selected participants will now perform in round 2 which will be similar to round
      1. Here participants are required to perform their own work for 2-3 minutes.
  • ROUND 3-:
    • It will be the last round which is a Rap battle of the last 2 best Rappers in which they have to diss/roast other rapper with their best (no vulgar language) & Win the battle

WALK OF GRACE

  • Event will be held at ISI-5, RIICO Institutional Area, Apex Cir, Sitapura, Jaipur
  • Participants are required to arrive 1 hr. before the event commences.
  • Each performance can have 10 - 13 participants.
  • Every team should have a particular theme of their choice.
  • Maximum two teams are allowed to participate from a particular college.
  • Use of props is permitted.
  • The total time limit of a team is 10-15 minutes (including setup and performance).
  • Required music track shall be arranged by the team itself.
  • Violation of the rules or any indecent behaviour may result in disqualification.
  • Decision of the judges will be final.

DJ WAR

  • Event will be held at ISI-5, RIICO Institutional Area, Apex Cir, Sitapura, Jaipur
  • All contestants are expected to carry their own music (Vinyl, CDs and/or pen drives), headphones, slip mats & needles.
  • DVS systems (Traktor, Serato, etc.) or any Ableton Live setup would not be allowed in this competition.
  • There would be no separate Vinyl or CD Round.
  • Any abusive track should not be included.

Dumb Charades

  • Event will be held at: ISI-5, RIICO Institutional Area, Apex Cir, Sitapura, Jaipur
  • General rules-:
    • Assemble a mighty team of 3 players, ready to take on the competition.
    • Embrace the raw power of your mind, as the use of smart electronic devices is off limits.
    • Violation of the rules or any indecent behavior may result in immediate disqualification.
  • Description :
  • Each team of 3 participants takes turns. One member acts out a dialogue, movie scene, song, or something similar using gestures, lip-syncing, and expressions to help the other two team members guess what it is.
  • Among the three players, one will take on the role of the actor, while the other two will wear headphones and listen to loud music.
  • Guess as many items as possible within the event coordinator's time limit.
  • The team with the most correct guesses wins the event.
  • The competition will have 2 winners and will be awarded as winner and Runner-up.

BLIND CODING

  • Event will be held at ISI-5, RIICO Institutional Area, Apex Cir, Sitapura, Jaipur
  • Each participant has to write the code for a given problem.
  • Participants whose code gets executed will be given higher preference.
  • The second preference will be given to code with the least number of errors.
  • In case of a tie in the number of errors, TIME of SUBMISSION will be considered.
  • Shortlisted participants of Round-1 will appear for Round-2 for which the above rules are applicable.

HACKATHON

  • Event will be held at ISI-5, RIICO Institutional Area, Apex Cir, Sitapura, Jaipur
  • This challenge will be of 24 hours.
  • Kindly bring your own laptops, chargers, and any essentials you need for the challenge.
  • We will provide wired internet connections and power supply points for each team, so plan your laptop accessories accordingly.
  • Participant must be a college student and will carry his/her college ID card at the time of arrival.
  • Maximum 3 team members are allowed in one team (Individual participation is also allowed).
  • Theme and challenges-:
    • Theme: Mini Hackathon
    • Challenges: Problem Statement will be provided at the beginning of the event.
    • A sample problem must be solved to qualify for the first round.
    • A PowerPoint presentation and an explanation video of that presentation must be submitted by all participants by 5:00 PM on 17th Feb.
  • Schedule of the event-:
    • Opening ceremony: [18 Feb at 12pm] - Introduction to the theme, challenges, and rules.
    • Hacking period: from 12:00 Noon of 18 Feb to 12:00 Noon of 19 Feb. - Teams work on their projects with access to resources and support from mentors and organizers.
    • Submission deadline will be on 19 Feb at 12:00 Noon
    • Final presentations: 19 Feb at 1:00pm onwards. for showcasing projects to judges.
    • Closing ceremony: 19 Feb at 1:00 pm onwards - Announcement of winners, awarding prizes, and closing remarks.
  • Rules and Guidelines-:
    • Ethical Hacking: Participants are prohibited from using any illegal or unethical practices during the hackathon.
    • Open Source Code: Teams are encouraged to use open source libraries and frameworks.
    • Intellectual Property: Teams retain ownership of their project ideas and code, but organizers have the right to showcase all submissions with proper attribution.
    • In case the team wishes to withdraw their participation from the Hackathon, they will be required to provide the organizer with an exit consent letter.
    • Please take care of your belongings, as the organizing team won't be held responsible for them.
    • To reduce plastic bottle waste, we recommend you carry a water bottle for refilling water from the water station.
    • Conduct: Participants are expected to maintain a respectful and professional attitude towards each other and the organizers. Any disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in disqualification.
    • Accommodation during the event will be provided on a sharing basis.
    • Meals will be available at the venue at a reasonable price. Purchasing food coupons is not mandatory; participants are free to manage the food by themselves either from the mess, canteen, vendors, or online delivery.
  • Judging Criteria-:
    • Innovation and Creativity: Originality and uniqueness of the solution.
    • Feasibility and Viability: Potential for real-world implementation and impact.
    • Technical Execution: Quality of code, design, and user experience.
    • Presentation and Communication: Clarity and effectiveness in explaining the project.
  • Disclaimer-:
    • Organizers reserve the right to modify these rules at any time during the hackathon.
    • Participants agree to participate at their own risk and hold the organizers harmless from any liability arising from their participation.

JUST-A-MINUTE

  • Event will be held at ISI-5, RIICO Institutional Area, Apex Cir, Sitapura, Jaipur
  • Participant has to speak only in English.
  • Maximum time limit to think over the topic will be 2 minutes, and the maximum time for the speech will be 5 minutes.
  • The participant will be allowed to select the topic once only.
  • Participants will not be allowed to take any paper or material with them during the speech.
  • Paper will be provided to make notes about the topic, but they will not be allowed to carry them for the speech.
  • The judge’s decision will be final and binding.

KAUN BANEGA PHARMACIST

  • Event will be held at: ISI-5, RIICO Institutional Area, Apex Cir, Sitapura, Jaipur
  • Round 1:
    • Each team will be asked 3 questions that have a single answer.
    • 10 points for answering the direct question correctly.
    • Unanswered questions may be passed to the next team.
    • 5 points for answering the pass question correctly.
    • No negative marking for a wrong answer in this round.
    • You have 30 seconds to answer direct questions and 5 seconds for pass questions.
  • Round 2: visual round
    • Each team will have 2 visuals, and each visual will have 2 questions.
    • 20 points for answering both direct questions correctly and 10 marks for 1 correct answer.
    • Unanswered/wrongly answered questions will get 10 negative marks.
    • Unanswered/wrongly answered questions pass to the next team.
    • 5 points for answering the passed questions correctly.
    • You have 30 seconds to answer direct questions and 5 seconds for passed questions.
  • Round 3: Buzzer round
    • Total 10 questions for this round.
    • 10 points for the right answer.
    • After the buzzer, unanswered/wrongly answered questions will get 10 negative marks.
    • No pass is allowed.
    • You have 10 seconds to answer.

AU-SPLITZ VILLA

  • Event will be held at ISI-5, RIICO Institutional Area, Apex Cir, Sitapura, Jaipur
  • This event will take place in three rounds.
  • Replacement of any participant (pair) is not allowed after the allotment.
  • The decision of the judge(s) shall be final and binding.
  • Selection and elimination of each participant will be done on the basis of different rounds.
  • A pair of spare clothes and comfortable clothing is recommended for the final task.
  • All the rounds will be elimination rounds.
  • Any kind of violation or misbehavior will result in immediate disqualification.
  • Every participant has to send a portfolio after registering for the event on the mail id provided by the event organizer.
  • Participants will be shortlisted on the basis of their portfolios.
  • No obscene or vulgar act/language will be entertained.
  • There will be 20 participants (10 boys and 10 girls). Send your portfolio by 15th February 2024.
  • Round 1: Introduction Round ( 18TH FEB 2024 1:00PM- 2:00PM)
    • The shortlisted candidates will be gathered in one location and required to introduce themselves.
    • The boys will strive to impress the girls with any of their skills, and each girl will get to choose two boys by offering them roses.
    • The girls who aren’t chosen by any boys will be eliminated.
    • The boys who have the least or no roses will be eliminated.
    • Each boy will be given a minute to impress the girls.
    • No girl can give both roses to the same guy.
  • Round 3: Task Round (19TH FEB 2024, 12:00 Noon- 1:00 PM)
    • The guidelines for this particular round will be specified to the participants on the same day of the event.
    • There will be no physical violence during the round.

AUCTION PREMIERE LEAGUE

  • Event will be held at: ISI-5, RIICO Institutional Area, Apex Cir, Sitapura, Jaipur
  • ROUND 1-:
    • Quiz Round
    • There will be a quiz related to IPL in the Pen and paper format.
    • Time duration for the quiz will be 10 minutes.
    • The top 8 - 10 teams will be selected for round 2.
  • Round 2-:
    • Auction Round
    • Each team will be allotted a budget of Rs.60 Crores.
    • Each team player from the player pool will be assigned a rating out of 100.
    • The squad size of each squad should be 11.
    • The maximum number of overseas players in a squad is four.
    • The base price of the players is 20 lakhs, 50 lakhs, 1 Crore, and 2 Crore.
    • The increment bidding for players will be in the following manner:
      • 50 lakhs - 10 lakhs increment.
      • 2 crores to 5 crores - 30 lakhs increment
      • Above 5 crores - 50 lakhs increment
    • When calling your bid, each time must take their franchise’s name as well, for example: the team representing Mumbai Indians will bid '2.5 Crores - MI’.
    • The bid heard by the auctioneer first, will be considered. Each team must have 11 players (with a minimum of 4 batsmen, 4 bowlers, 2 all-rounders, and 1 Wicket keeper) in their squad failing which they will be automatically disqualified. Only the team captain can submit the quiz, if multiple entries are submitted, only the first one will be considered.
  • General rules-:
    • Bids placed after the auctioneer has counted down to 3 are redundant.
    • There will be no cancellation of bids once placed.
    • All the ratings assigned to the players are assigned by organizers taking into consideration factors like batting performance, bowling performance, fielding performance, form, experience, and pitch conditions. These ratings are final and no objections would be entertained.
    • During the auction only the team leader can place the bid.
    • The decision of the auctioneer with respect to bidding by a team or the sale of a player will be final.
  • RESULT-:
    • A team’s score will be calculated by taking the sum average rating of the team.
    • The stability of the line-up would be taken into consideration. This includes who are the openers, middle-order batsmen, wicketkeepers, spinners, pacers, captains, and players’ recent form.
    • Total Score = [(sum of rating of 11 players + overall team rating)]

BLITZ SHOWDOWN

  • Event will be held at ISI-5, RIICO Institutional Area, Apex Cir, Sitapura, Jaipur
  • This will be a team event.
  • All types of dance forms are permitted.
  • This event consists of 2 rounds.
  • Round 1 will be online, in which the participating team has to send a video of 4 minutes via email to technoaagaz@gmail.com by 15 February.
  • All participating members are required to be in that video.
  • Round 2 will be offline, in which the selected team has to showcase their performance for 6-8 minutes.

CLASH OF BANDS

  • Event will be held at ISI-5, RIICO Institutional Area, Apex Cir, Sitapura, Jaipur
  • Contestants may submit an original or cover of an existing song, but all cover songs must be identified as a cover, and contain the original song title and the artist version they are covering.
  • Song lyrics must be Family Friendly.
  • Only 1 song will be permitted to a particular contestant.

CLASH OF BANDS

  • Event will be held at ISI-5, RIICO Institutional Area, Apex Cir, Sitapura, Jaipur
  • Contestants may submit an original or cover of an existing song, but all cover songs must be identified as a cover, and contain the original song title and the artist version they are covering.

THE REELING SHOW

  • Event will be held at ISI-5, RIICO Institutional Area, Apex Cir, Sitapura, Jaipur
  • THEME: After movie of the event
  • The minimum time of the reel is 20 seconds and the maximum is 45 seconds. The quality of the video should be 4k.
  • The reel should be aesthetically engaging.
  • Transition videos are allowed.
  • Team size: Individual.
  • Use your own device with your own data.

YOGA & FITNESS CHALLENGE

  • Event will be held at ISI-5, RIICO Institutional Area, Apex Cir, Sitapura, Jaipur
  • Both the participations are included (single and team).
  • Participants must present themselves in yoga outfits on stage. If they are not present in their yoga outfits, they will be disqualified directly.
  • Participants with health issues are strictly not allowed.
  • The equipment regarding this event will be provided to the participants by the coordinators.

SPICE SHOWDOWN

  • Event will be held at ISI-5, RIICO Institutional Area, Apex Cir, Sitapura, Jaipur
  • Maximum 3 members are allowed in one team. Individual participation is also allowed.
  • Each participant must prepare and present three dishes.
  • The presentation and flavor of the dishes will be carefully evaluated.
  • The competition will last for 1 hour only.
  • Participants are required to bring all necessary ingredients and utensils by their own.
  • As this is a non-fire cooking, there will be no use of induction, microwave, and stove.
  • Please note that no assistance will be provided during the competition.

HOGATHON (PANI-PURI)

  • Event will be held at ISI-5, RIICO Institutional Area, Apex Cir, Sitapura, Jaipur
  • Individual participation is allowed.
  • If you missed a pani puri, that will not be counted.
  • The participant must have pani-puri.
  • Time duration will be based on the capacity of participants.

CIRCUITS SMACKDOWN

  • Event will be held at ISI-5, RIICO Institutional Area, Apex Cir, Sitapura, Jaipur
  • This event will be a Robo war.
  • Each team should have a maximum of 4 members who are enrolled at the time of registration.
  • The robot must fit within a box of 0.5 meters from all sides (l × b × h).
  • The robot weight cannot exceed 7 kg (including batteries and any pneumatic source/tank).
  • Robots must be autonomous or semi-autonomous (controlled by a remote user and some independent decision-making capabilities are optional).
  • All robots must undergo a safety inspection at the time of the competition.
  • Timings: 12:00 Noon-1:00 PM
  • No sharp edges, projectiles, or hazardous materials are allowed.
  • Respectful and fair conduct is expected from all participants, both towards teammates and opponents.
  • The competition will take place in an enclosed arena with normal obstacles.
  • Each match will last for 10 minutes, with a possible overtime round if no winner is declared.
  • Points will be awarded for specific actions, such as immobilizing the opponent, pushing them out of the arena, completing objectives, or surviving the match.
  • Winning conditions-:
    • The opponent is immobilized (unable to move for 15 seconds)
    • The opponent exits the arena boundaries.
    • The robot has more points at the end of the match.
    • In case of a tie, additional rounds or judge decisions may be used to determine the winner.
  • Prohibited actions-:
    • Intentionally damaging the arena or other robots.
    • Using weapons that could injure or endanger spectators.
    • Tampering with opponent’s robots.
    • Use of verbal abuse or physical aggression may lead to disqualification.

DEKH TAMASHA

  • Event will be held at ISI-5, RIICO Institutional Area, Apex Cir, Sitapura, Jaipur
  • Participants are required to arrive 1 hour before the event commences.
  • Content and theme selection are open to the team. Ensure that the content is respectful and non-offensive.
  • All participants have to get their costumes, makeup, and other requirements for the act.
  • Team size: 5-15 members.
  • Violation of the rules or any indecent behavior may result in immediate disqualification.
  • The total time limit for a team is 5-20 minutes.
  • Negative marking will be awarded if the time limit is exceeded.
  • The competition will have 2 winners and will be awarded as Winner and Runner up.

OPEN MIC

  • Event will be held at ISI-5, RIICO Institutional Area, Apex Cir, Sitapura, Jaipur
  • Participants will perform individually.
  • Time limit of a particular performance will be 5-10 minutes.

AAJA NACHLE

  • Event will be held at ISI-5, RIICO Institutional Area, Apex Cir, Sitapura, Jaipur
  • This is a solo dance competition.
  • The competition will consist of two rounds.
  • All dance forms are allowed including Classical, Semi-Classical, and Folk. Fusion of songs and voice-over is allowed.
  • Vulgarity and obscenity at any point are strictly prohibited.
  • Costumes worn by participants should be appropriate.
  • ROUND 1 -:
    • Songs must be selected based on participants' personal preferences.
    • Time duration will be 2-3 minutes.
    • Participants will be selected on the basis of their choreography.
    • Any type of vulgarity will not be entertained. Timings: 5:00 PM-7:00 PM
    • Any type of vulgarity will not be entertained.
  • ROUND 2 -:
    • In this round, a random track will be given at that time only, and you have to dance on the given random track at that spot of time.
    • Selected participants will be required to assemble 20 minutes prior to the event.
    • The time duration of that track will be 1 minute only.
    • Judgment will be on the basis of choreography and creativity.
    • Decision of the judges will be final and binding.
