  Jaipur-based Apex University Jaipur today had the honour of hosting a distinguished international academician, Dr Mufti Mahmud, from the United Kingdom. Dr Mufti Mahmud is a Professor of Cognitive Computing in the Department of Computer Science at Nottingham Trent University (NTU), Nottingham, UK. During his visit, Dr Mahmud toured the university campus and reviewed its academic and research facilities. He expressed deep appreciation for the modern infrastructure, well-equipped laboratories, and the vibrant academic environment of the university. He congratulated the students for having the opportunity to pursue their education in such an inspiring and world-class ambience. Dr Mahmud emphasized the importance of collaborative research initiatives, joint international conferences, and faculty development programs to enhance global academic engagement and innovation. A fruitful discussion was held with Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof. Rakesh Premi, Registrar Dr Pankaj Sharma, and Dean–International Dr Vijay Singh Rathore, during which potential areas of future academic and research collaboration were explored and planned. The Chairman of the University, Dr Ravi Juniwal, appreciated Dr Mahmud’s visit and extended his support for long-term academic collaborations aimed at enriching student learning outcomes and promoting international exposure. This visit marks a significant step towards strengthening global academic partnerships and reinforces Apex University Jaipur’s commitment to providing international-standard education, research excellence, and global opportunities for its students and faculty members.
