Sport is a
challenge where you
compete with the
opponents. You need to
analyse and understand their moves and
make
spontaneous decisions,
consequently improving
your mental ability.
Thinking
sharply and
responding according
to situation has
positive impact on a
sport
person's brain.
Sports also develop
your social skills as
you interact with your
opponents as well as the
teammates. It improves
one’s ability to work in
a team giving him/her an
exposure to the team
culture, which is
beneficial in
professional life as
well. Even the mere
spectators of a sport
interact with each other
and support their
respective teams by
shouting and cheering;
resulting in overall
happiness and a good
social behavior.
Apex Badminton Tournament
The game developed in
British India from the
earlier game of
battledore and
shuttlecock. The modern
game of badminton
developed in the
mid-19th century among
the British as a variant
of the earlier game of
battledore and
shuttlecock.
Early on, the game was
also known as Poona or
Poonah after the
garrison town of Pune,
where it was
particularly popular and
where the first rules
for the game were drawn
up in 1873.
The
game has also become a
popular backyard sport
in our country.
We organize
Annual Apex Badminton
Tournament for all of our
students.
